Knitido Dr. Foot Hallux valgus toelets closed are half socks with a strong compression effect on the midfoot to support the foot in hallux valgus.

Hallux valgus - a foot complaint of the modern age

The causes of Hallux valgus are to be found in modern footwear and closed socks. The toes are laterally constricted and pressed against each other. The sensory system becomes dull and the permanent malpositioning of the constricted toes in the shoe becomes chronic over time. From the "foundation" of your body - your feet - it spreads throughout your whole body and leads to symptoms that one would not intuitively associate with toes: a bent back, shoulder and neck tension, headaches, jaw problems, tooth wear. The whole body gets into a crooked position due to the "bunion".

The base of Knitido toe socks

Dr. Foot Hallux Valgus Toe Socks are toe socks with a compression band incorporated at the level of the arch of the foot. This exerts gentle pressure on the midfoot area and relieves the toes. The individually bordered toes prevent lateral pressure on the toe area.

The relief reactivates the sensory system of the individual toes and encourages the muscles to move freely - you feel this in the urge of your toes to feel your surroundings. The increased movement stimulates the muscle (re)formation in the toes. The toes are re-integrated into the movement of the foot instead of just "suffering" from them.

You can wear these closed toes discreetly under wide conventional socks or directly in your shoes or in sandals in summer. You can also wear them comfortably while sleeping.

What can you do for support?

Allow your feet - and especially your toes - freedom of movement. Wide shoes that fit your toes, generous socks or toe socks that do not compress your feet are a good prerequisite for this.
